Please use the form below to submit a request for faculty copy of required reading.
Required reading (for student purchase) – This requirement must be clearly stated in the course syllabus. Faculty are advised to check with the publishers if the titles are available and not out-of-print.
Required reading (for optional student purchase) – Texts that are useful for the course but that students are not required to own.
Audio-visual materials (for library purchase) – any films or supporting materials required for the teaching of the course.
The Dean of Faculty’s office will provide one desk copy of all required texts to each instructor, provided that the instructor has not previously received a desk copy of the same text.
Course Facilitators for the Common Curriculum, when placing desk copy orders on behalf of their teaching group, should indicate the instructors’ names under “remarks”.

Library RBR (Reserve Books/Readings)
The Library will acquire Required Reading, A/V materials, and Recommended Reading for the Yale-NUS Library’s RBR. Where available, the electronic version of a text may be purchased.

Required and Recommended Reading List for students
Faculty should provide the Library with a full list of Required Reading and Recommended Reading at least 12 weeks prior to the start of the semester. This list should be emailed to the Library Team at email@example.com, or you may use the Desk Copies/Required Reading form below.
Faculty are advised to post the full list of Required Reading and Recommended Reading on Canvas for student access.
